With Sheng Di Huang, for Excess or Deficiency Heat patterns.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With E Jiao, for Heat from Deficiency.
Rx. Lithospermi/ Arnebiae Zi Cao 12g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, invigorates Blood circulation, relieves Fire toxins, promotes urination and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.
With Huang Bai, for Heat in the skin disorders such as boils, eczema, and burns.
Hb. Violae Zi Hua Di Ding 12g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and clears hot sores.
Sm. Plantaginis Che Qian Zi 12g Promotes urination, clears Damp-Heat and clears Liver Heat.
Colla Corii Asini E Jiao 9g Tonifies the Blood, nourishes the Blood, stops bleeding and nourishes and moistens Yin.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 9g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao, drains Kidney Fire, drains Fire and relieves Fire toxicity.
